Oh my gosh people, be nice to your waiter/waitress, it’s not their fault that your food is cold or if it’s under cooked. Be nice to the cashiers who are still training and can’t ring up your items as quickly as you want. If a stranger smiles and says hello to you, smile and say hello back! It’s just common courtesy, I don’t understand why people have to be so rude.

working with the public really trains you in how to be a good customer, and it makes you really appreciate polite, genuinely nice people. one more thing to remember: whatever it is you’re getting— food, clothing, your nails done, i don’t even know, anything— it really isn’t that important in the grand scheme of things. so if something goes wrong or isn’t quite how you like it or is more expensive than you would like— so what. it will be forgotten in a few days anyways. what is much more important is treating people kindly and being a good person and spreading love and positive vibes!
